A gateway is not an acquiring route

Payment technology and payment acceptance are different problems. A gateway transmits transaction data; the acquiring relationship decides whether the business can be onboarded at all. For a high-risk merchant, the acquiring layer is usually the binding constraint.

Cards and APMs answer different questions

Card acquiring covers the scheme rails most customers expect. Alternative Payment Methods cover the local preferences that decide whether those customers convert at all in a given market. Most complex setups need both assessed together rather than in sequence.

How matching works

A structured profile turns a provider list into a decision-ready brief.

Provider fit depends on the combination of business activity, operating footprint, processing profile and current requirement. The qualification flow captures these factors in a structured brief.

Frequently asked

Does a potential route mean approval?

No. It means the setup appears relevant enough for assessment or introduction. Each provider decides eligibility, pricing and terms.
