These terms explain who operates Find a Payment Processor, what the site does and does not do, and the conditions that apply when you use it.

What this service is
The site publishes general information about payment processing for high-risk businesses, and offers an assessment and introduction service for merchants, PSPs and MSBs.
Reading a guide, using the matching flow or submitting a profile does not create a payment-processing agreement, does not open an application with a payment provider and is not a guarantee of acceptance. It creates no obligation on us to make an introduction.
Where a potential match is identified, we introduce the business to payment partners in our network. Each provider we introduce you to completes its own underwriting and decides on approval, pricing and terms. Any route described or discussed here is subject to provider underwriting.
No professional advice
Content on this site is general information about payment processing. It is not legal, regulatory, tax or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for advice on your own situation.
Licensing, tax and compliance requirements differ by country, product and payment method. Confirm your obligations with qualified advisers in the jurisdictions where you are established and where your customers are located before acting on anything published here.
Accuracy and change
Guides are prepared from public primary sources and specialist experience. Each page shows the date it was last updated, and a review date where one applies. Content can become out of date between updates.
Provider requirements, documentation, pricing and risk appetite change, sometimes at short notice. Treat what you read here as a starting point and confirm current requirements before making a commercial decision.
Acceptable use
- Submit accurate and complete information about the business, its ownership, its products and its processing history.
- Do not misrepresent licensing status, trading activity, chargeback history or the reason a previous account was closed.
- Do not submit another party’s information without authority to do so.
- Do not use the site for unlawful activity, and do not attempt to disrupt, overload or copy it at scale.
The service is for lawful and transparent businesses, licensed where the activity requires it. We may decline an enquiry, pause an assessment or stop work on a request at our discretion, and we are not obliged to give a reason.
How we are paid
The assessment and introduction service is free for merchants, PSPs and MSBs. We may receive compensation from a payment provider when an introduction leads to a completed placement. This does not change the information you provide, the routes we assess or the underwriting decision made by the provider.
We are not a bank, acquirer, payment service provider or processor, and we do not sell payment processing. We do not publish paid rankings, and no provider can buy a place in an assessment.

Intellectual property
The text, structure and design of this site belong to the operator. You may quote a short extract or link to a page with attribution. Do not republish substantial parts of the content, in any format, without written permission.
Third-party names, brands and trademarks mentioned on this site belong to their owners. They are used descriptively, and their use does not imply a relationship, endorsement or partnership.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to regulators, card schemes and other primary sources so that a statement can be verified. Those sites are not under our control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or terms, and a link is not an endorsement.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the site is provided as is, with no warranty that the information is complete, current or fit for a particular purpose.

Information submitted through the matching flow is handled as described in the data and privacy notice. Do not send card numbers, identity documents or customer records through this site.
Governing law
Rotiv Consult is established in Portugal. These terms, the use of this site and the assessment and introduction service are governed by the laws of Portugal, and the courts of Portugal have jurisdiction over any dispute.
This does not remove any mandatory protections available to you under the law of the country where you are resident or established.
Changes and questions
These terms are updated when the service, the commercial model or the operating entity changes. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
